James Sunderland is encouraging local people to nominate volunteering groups for a King's Award for Voluntary Service.
The King’s Award for Voluntary Service is the highest award given to volunteer groups across the UK. Any group of three or more people doing volunteering work can be nominated for this Award.
To be eligible to be nominated, groups should do work providing a service that meets the need of people living in the local community, is supported, recognised and respected by the local community and those who benefit from it.
All nominations are completed online via the King’s Award for Voluntary Service website here.
Nominations for the 2024 Awards need to be submitted no later than midnight on Wednesday 15 September 2023.
