James Sunderland hosted a reception on the terrace of the House of Commons on behalf of DEBRA to raise awareness of EB (Epidermolysis Bullosa). James was joined by many of the charity’s supporters including football legend Graeme Souness, who was fresh from swimming the English Channel for DEBRA, and Falklands veteran Simon Weston CBE.
Graeme Souness gave a moving account of getting to know 14-year-old Isla Grist and her family and seeing first-hand the extreme pain this devastating condition causes.

James said:
“It was a huge privilege to host the DEBRA Charity reception last night in the House of Commons. Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is a grim disease but drug re-purposing could make a massive difference to sufferers. Let’s make it happen.”
